i saw it on saturday with my mom, my sister, and my gf.
dude, i was sooooo disappointed. all the best laughs were in the trailer. the rest of the movie was very flat...worse than day-old soda.
Dude, you are SUCH a killjoy! Remind me not to see Star Trek with you next year!
Jason, you KNOW you love me

I really hate it when the best parts are in the trailer. Drives me NUTS.
Jason, I forgot about Wall-E and Hancock. Good call. Gonna see Wall-E with the 6 yr old for sure, Hancock I hope so.
Man I haven't been to the theatre this much in YEARS.
Anything to get excited about after Dark Knight? The only movie I can think of is the Clone Wars cartoon movie but that's only cause I'm a Star Wars nut. I don't expect other people to be getting too excited about that one.

Falcon,
In terms of after TDK...er, maybe The Mummy? The Women in September? There may be a breakout something or other, but nothing huge which smacks me in the face. Then again, the best movie of 2006 that NOBODY F'ING SAW didn't hit until the end of October...Catch a Fire.
Jason, newly depressed

Yes. The Mummy, H.P. 6 and the new Star Trek. It's gonna be a good year
I wonder if this years totals will be higher than last years money wise. We shall see. There seems to be more enticing movies out there this year in my opinion.

I had thought we were talking about Summer movies, else I would have included HP.
I'm sure you both know Star Trek is pushed to May, 2009, so it's not coming out for a while.
Jason, bummed

Who in the heck ever said that DVDTown "supports the movie industry"? We're an independent web site that provides news coverage and film reviews. We therefore become part of the sprawling PR machine that is cinema, but we're hardly part of the industry.
And of course your entire complaint is nonsensical since it wasn't posted by a DVD employee in the first place, just a user. We don't censor lightly - only when personal attacks or rampant trolling are involved.

Well i didnt mean to start a debate about sneaking into a movie. sorry guys i guess some people are up tight, I dont support stealing are sneaking into movies or pirateing dvds. i really didnt think it was that big of a deal considering there were like 15 people in a huge theather watching the movie, it was 11pm. Not that makes its okay but its not like its was a packed house and people tryn to find a seat.

Yup. One very small scene at the very end. I'll admit, I didn't get it.
