Now official - XBOX 360 for $199

If this doesn't help sales I will be dumbfounded as to what people are thinking.

Wii 729 mhtz Processor vs. Xbox 360 triple core all running at 3.2 ghtz

I love my xbox 360 all the more after I was given a demo of the Wii by my friend on my HDTV.
I know, I know "The Wii is so much fun!" That's all people say about it. Well, the Wii has crap graphics, cannot display in HD and cannot even play a dvd. Talk about a handicapped console. "Oh, but we get exercise playing the Wii, Wolvy!" Go play some real sports or go to the freaking gym. Long live XBOX 360 which has the ultimate games(The Force Unleashed to come--woot).

Wolvinator, have you tried the Force Unleashed demo yet? So much fun! I finally figure out how to throw the lightsaber. lol

I so love that demo. It's a definite buy for me. How do you throw the lightsaber?

I don't know how to do it on the XBOX but on the PS3 when you pick up a soldier or stormtrooper using force grip, you hit the lightsaber button and you end up throwing it into his chest.

Lotsa fun. THEN! While he's still in the air you use Force Push and send him flying along his merry way. Good times. If only we could do that in real life.

The button controls and everything on the 360 are the same as the PS3.

I must agree, SW:TFU has the best demo I've ever played next to the Uncharted: Drake's Fortune demo.

I was not impressed by the Uncharted demo... However I still kinda want to buy the game... just so I can have more then two PS3 games.

Yes, the demo looked good for Star Wars.

But a game in 2008 that does not have coop or proper multiplayer is truly a disappointment.

Now, I can't wait for:

Call of Duty: World at War
Gears of War 2
Halo Wars
Fifa 09

I'm sure the Force Unleashed will be worth buying on both xbox and PS3. Anyone been able to compare the two consoles to see which looks better?

They look VERY identical.

They are pretty identical. I actually felt that it looked better on the Xbox 360.

Mike, I downloaded this game called 1942 from the Playstation store last night for $9.99. It's a basic game with good graphics actually and it's fun. For $10 you can't go wrong. I used to pay this game in high school but it's so much better on a big screen with better graphics.

Besides, Force Unleashed is coming in a week or two and there's also Socom. I'm sure there are others so save your coin.

Also there's quite a few demos you can download for free from the Playstation store and keep yourself entertained that way.

I'll check out the demo for that. I guess I have 3 games but still... right now I've only got MGS4, Eye of Judgement, and PAIN. I'm really looking more towards disc based games though.

I think I'm gonna subscribe to Qore. I got a Official Playstation Magazine at the store today and it had a free code for last months episode of Qore. It seems pretty neat. Not to mention exclusive downloads and Beta access is always nice.

Mike, 1942 isn't like MGS4, but they have other demos like if you like that type of game. I downloaded a couple (can't remember their names at the moment) and they weren't bad.

Still 1942 is fun (even though it's basic) and you can kill sometime just shooting the crap out of airplanes, oh and bombing them too.

Right on. I'll check it out.

And you know... I'm into all sorts of crazy games.

Is that the 1942 made by EA Games? If so, that rocked on the PC.

I heard Katamari is good, haven't tried it yet though.

Wolv, I'm not sure if it's an EA game (doubt it though) but I did download an EA game demo last night. It was some kind of boxing game but it was dumb as hell. It even has Kim Kardashian in it which looks nothing like her but yeah, total waste of time IMO.

BTW Mike, they have a free demo of that 1942 game if you wanna try it out first.

More proof that some people need to CHILL OUT LOL. The Wii is a great all around family fun gaming machine. No it never tryed to sale us on it's graphics, which by the way are not that bad. It sold people on the motion sensor technology which Sony or Microsoft will follow in the future. (thats just my prediction)
I look at the Wii as the little train that did. Nintendo snuck up on the BIG guys and stomped their ass, delivering on what I call as the most fun you can have with your kids. Yes you are right, their are no HD graphics, no HD or Blu Ray, just a gaming system, and what is so wrong with that?

The great part is that Microsoft dropped the price to, not compete with Nintendo, but with Sony. Apparently the battle for this generation is for number 2.

Hey Falcon, I downloaded the demo for that game. That was a whole lot more fun then I expected!

Haha! Told ya! My 6 yr old loves and my GF loves it so it can't be that after all. It's simple but loads of fun. I ended up getting the full version and so far I haven't made it past level 3.

hah! Awesome man. If I pick it up I might get it for the 360. I'll download the demo for the 360 and see how it is.

You should download the demo for Calling All Cars.

I subscribed to Playstations Qore and you get a free download of the full game. It's pretty fun and simple.
