Just a heads up, Wal-Mart has a decent selection of 15 dollar Blu-Rays. The ones I remember are,
Mad Max
Shoot Em Up
The Shining
Clockwork Orange
Alexander The Great: Directors Cut
There were many more then that... they also had Terminator 2 and Stargate for 10.00.

Well, Target had (last week), also similar selection, with The Aviator (was very, very VERY tempted to buy it), The Shinning, A Clockwork Orange, and a few more also for $15...

Wal-Mart also had The Aviator...
Friend of mine may be buying me A Clockwork Orange... that is if he can't get my HD-DVD copy out of his now dead HD-DVD Player.

Mad Max isn't on Blu yet. It is released under MGM.
Road Warrior, The [Blu-ray] » is released under Warner Bros.

Probably not a clamoring for Mad Max or Beyond Thunderdome but I would get both on Blu.

Unfortunately The Aviator on blu, has just a regular DD, and in HD DVD has a DD+...

That may be ^true mvckalel, but the BD's bitrate is the same as that of the HD DVD's DD+, as noted in this example (of Warner's "Good Night and Good Luck"), from a HighDefDigest review...
(Note that although the HD DVD release of 'Good Night, and Good Luck' presents the film in Dolby Digital-Plus, the Blu-ray spec also does not require the use of the format except when a track goes beyond 5.1 channels, i.e., 6.1 or 7.1 soundtracks. The actual bitrate of the Dolby Digital track on this Blu-ray version is thus identical to the Dolby Digital-Plus track on the HD DVD, approximately 640kbps.)
You could listen to a comparison and would not be able to tell them apart.
