I have high hopes for this. JJ will do a good job. The dude knows how to infuse energy into known material. I loved Alias his tv show and found MI3 and Cloverfield very entertaining.

The trailer lives up to my hopes. I will definitely go to the theater for this one.

Yeah, they might pull this one off. I saw this trailer online yesterday, but I also saw last night on TV during Terminator: TSC. Didn't expect that one...

Interesting style change that Hollywood has been going through lately. Batman, Bond, and now Trek all have a more gritty feel to them (like those old Star Wars flicks). Not sure if that's the right word but its a style that I like (as opposed to new Star Wars flicks).

Interesting is right. Looks like a lot happens in the movie. I'll wait for the reviews and take it from there but I definitely want to see this, whether it's in the theatre or when it's released on video.

These remakes are great though and Eric Bana looks pretty bad ass. Never could get through any star trek movie/show but I will prolly catch this one.

Dude, watch Wrath of Khan...EXCELLENT...

Looks very good, my fave Trek movies are the ones that are darker in tone. Wrath of Khan First Contact and this seems to be treading along those lines. The trailer is only let down because the Kid Kirk delivers his line horribly.
