Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull [2-Disc Special Edition]

Finally got around to seeing this movie on the weekend. Meh, I wish they would make movies the way they used to. WAY too much CGI in this one, so much so that it was almost distracting. Plus there were some ridiculous scenes (The Flash fire ants, Mutt doing his Tarzan impression, etc.).

I think the coolest part about this disc was the THX bit at the opening. WOW! That's the perfect thing to use when you want to show off your sound system to your friends. Amazing.

This movie gets better with repete viewings. I know this because my daughter has had it on about 10 times since I bought it. (maybe a Shia thing?) Yes, there are ALOT of cheesy momments, but I think that was the directors intent, as the 1930 serials that these movies are based on are also very cheesy. Does it stack up to the originals? NO. Not at all. Is it fun to watch? YOU BETCHA!
