Watched this movie yesterday (and didn't fall asleep as I did the day before with Pitch Black, which, by the way, is actually very engaging and entertaining) and all I can say is that it didn't dissappoint. The story is very engaging and interesting, the acting is good, and the locations where the movie were shot are excellent. Still, at 82, the movie felt rushed, and I felt it could've been stretched a little better to get to know the characters a bit more. But overall, a very watchable and entertaining film, hope for the sequels...

I actually wasn't expecting a 'Godfather' type of acting on a 'teleporting' movie...he is actually not as bad as we all claim him to be...

Yes, he is as bad as everyone claims him to be. He's even worse than that kid in "The Phantom Menace," and that's saying a lot. At least it wasn't entirely the little tykes fault, Lucas is partially to blame for giving him such stupid lines as "oops." Christensen on the other hand, just can't act at all period. Think of it this way, would "Jumper" be better if someone else was in his role? I know episodes 2 and 3 of "Star Wars" definitely would have been.
