I stopped reading this MASTER AND COMMANDER review after the third sentence.
If you, as a writer, can't master the basic rules of using verbs, my inner voice commands me to find another web site.

Funny thing about the review. My reaction to "Master and Commander" was "Eh, it was a decent movie."

this movie was curiously flat. like chris wrote, it's not bad, but it never went anywhere, either.

I wasn't fond of this film either, and it really had potential. I love Peter Weir's earlier films, in particular 'Picnic at Hanging Rock', this was all the more disappointing to me.
