Film Synopsis:
An Adventure Beyond the Ordinar•E.
What if mankind had to leave Earth, and somebody forgot to turn the last robot off?
The highly acclaimed director of Finding Nemo and the creative storytellers behind Cars and Ratatouille transport you to a galaxy not so far away for a new cosmic comedy adventure about a determined robot named WALL•E. After hundreds of lonely years of doing what he was built for, the curious and lovable Wall•E discovers a new purpose in life when he meets a sleek search robot named EVE.
In a distant, but not so unrealistic future, where mankind has abandoned earth because it has become covered with trash from products sold by the powerful multi-national Buy N Large corporation, Wall•E, a garbage collecting robot has been left to clean up the mess. Mesmerized with trinkets of earth's history and show tunes, Wall•E is alone on Earth except for a sprightly pet cockroach.
One day, Eve, a sleek (and dangerous) reconnaissance robot, is sent to earth to find proof that life is once again sustainable. Wall•E falls in love with Eve. Wall•E rescues Eve from a dust storm and shows her a living plant he found amongst the rubble. Consistent with her "directive" Eve takes the plant and automatically enters a deactivated state except for a blinking green beacon. Wall•E, doesn't understand what has happened to his new friend, but true to his love, he protects her from wind, rain, and lightening, even as she is unresponsive.
Later, a massive ship comes to reclaim Eve, but Wall•E, out of love or loneliness, hitches a ride on the outside of the ship to rescue Eve. The ship arrives back at a large space cruise ship, which is carrying all of the humans who evacuated earth 700 years earlier. The people of earth ride around this space resort on hovering chairs which give them a constant feed of TV and video chatting. They drink all of their meals through a straw out of laziness and/or bone loss, and are all so fat that they can barely move. When the auto-pilot computer, acting on hastily given instructions sent many centuries before, tries to prevent the people of earth from returning, by stealing the plant, Wall•E, Eve, the portly captain, and a band of broken robots stage a mutiny.
Join them and a hilarious cast of characters on a fantastic journey across the universe. Transport yourself to a fascinating new world with Disney-Pixar's latest adventure, now even more astonishing on DVD and loaded with bonus features (including the exclusive animated short film BURN•E). Wall•E is a film your family will want to enjoy over and over again.
Filled with surprises, action, humor and heart, Wall•E was written and directed by Andrew Stanton, produced by Jim Morris, co-produced by Lindsey Collins and features original and innovative sound design by Academy Award®-winner Ben Burtt (Star Wars, Indiana Jones, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial).

The third disc only contains the "digital copy" of the movie.
I prefer watching movies in 1080p on my projector and not on my iPhone
So, two disc for me:

WOW is no kidding! By far, best Blu-ray I've seen or own. Talk about your show-off material.
And all you whiners that thought this film had a "left-wing" agenda, there’s something I thought of over a few cocktails and gardening supplies, how do you guys know it's not a bunch of "right-wingers" mocking "Left-wingers"? Anyway, deeeeeeeep thoughts.
What I saw is a film pretty much the same way James found it. I really didn’t see a political agenda, I saw a love story done between two main characters that had very little dialog. It’s a wonderful film and probably my third favorite next to “Toy Story 1 & 2”. Some may have found it average, but I loved it because I grew up in the “Jetson’s” era, so it connected with me all too easy.
Picture quality, though, as for all my other Blu-rays, say good night Francis.
