Multiple sources confirm that real XBOX 360 price cuts are imminent.
The new prices should be the following:
XBOX 360 Arcade : $199.99
XBOX 360 Pro (60GB HD) : $299.99
XBOX 360 Elite (120GB HD) : $399.99
The new prices put the entry model $50 below the price of the Wii and half that of the cheapest Playstation 3. It also brings the console below the psychologically important $200 price tag.
Sony have on multiple occasions said that they would not lower their prices this year, but it will be exciting to see if lowered prices from the competition will force them to react (and give us cheaper Blu-ray players.)
Official confirmation about the new prices should arrive within the next week or two.
